Mindful Living is about becoming aware of and understanding a key factor that significantly impacts how we experience our lives: our minds, our beliefs, and specifically our thoughts.
Mindful Living is about learning to be aware or ‘mindful’ of our thoughts, and how they affect our experience of life, so that we are able to see and experience them in a healthier way,
It is said that we have between 12,000 and 50,000 thoughts a day (The National Scientific Foundation) and of those 80% can be negative, and 95% are the same repetitive thoughts as the day before!
What we are thinking affects how we feel; our thoughts, specifically fusing with and believing our thoughts, is what makes us feel happy, sad, angry, anxious, calm, etc.
Most of the time we are in ‘auto-pilot’ mode, and often ‘fused’ with negative automatic thoughts that aren’t necessarily true or useful to us. We experience our world through this ‘lens’ of thought.
Are you viewing the world though a lens of fear? Or a lens of faith and confidence?
If you are experiencing fearful thoughts, and believing them, you will be experiencing a fearful world; not because the world is necessarily fearful, but because you are viewing the world through this fearful lens.
Gaining more understanding of the role of thought yields a much better understanding of why we feel how we feel, act how we act and experience life in the way we do. This enables us to not get so ‘caught up’ in our thoughts, and as a result we experience more Beautiful Inner Living.
Through Beautiful Inner Living programmes my intention is to help you to understand the nature of the mind and thought, so that you can start to free yourself from self-limiting patterns that are holding you back from stepping into your full potential.
